Frankly, Lanvin doesn't really ever need marketing campaign of any sort, so this fun idea will just create more buzz around Mr. Elbaz's wonderful creations. Photographed by Steven Meisel, Karen Elson and Raquel Zimmerman are beautiful and awesome as ever and the whole thing just proves that Lanvin pieces are not only strong investments but also practical, ha.
What do you think, friends? Is this genius or would a traditional campaign work better? Which is your favourite ad this season? For me, this is a strong contender.
Haha! That video is BRILLIANT!
ReplyDeleteI love it =]
It's nice to know that if I could afford their dresses I would be able to dance in them =]

I think the video is absolutely brilliant ! The fact that amateur "dancers" jump around in fancy clothes is really funny. The male models are absolutely "anti-street", especially the part where they pose :D
ReplyDeleteIt was soooo funny, I almost cried.
Oh, and I love the fall collection from Lanvin. The dresses are lovely with layers, soft contours and delicious jewel-like colours. I'd buy any of them immediately, if I got paid a little more :D Plus I wouldn't know where to wear them, since I work at a gym :D
*PS I follow you back.

ReplyDeleteThis video is so silly but great, sort of wish they had used an indie band instead of pitbull as the music!
The print campaign is stunning.
